How to get there

How to get to Newfoundland and Labrador
You can fly to Newfoundland and Labrador, drive to Labrador from Quebec, and take a ferry to Newfoundland. Our province is home to two international airports – located in St. John’s and Gander – as well as domestic airports in Deer Lake, Stephenville, and St. Anthony in Newfoundland, and Happy Valley-Goose Bay, Churchill Falls, and Wabush in Labrador. These local airports will get you around the province quickly and efficiently. This is an ideal way to travel if you can’t stay for a long time and you want to see as much as possible. For airline reservations,
see http://www.aircanada.com/ or http://www.westjet.com/ or contact your local regional airline for more information.

The main surface links to the Island of Newfoundland are by superferry from North Sydney, Nova Scotia. Superferries carry hundreds of vehicles and passengers daily between North Sydney and Port aux Basques in southwestern Newfoundland, and between North Sydney and Argentia, a 90 minute drive from St. John’s in The Avalon, from June to September. For ferry schedules visit their website at: http://www.marine-atlantic.com/

To drive to Trintiy East, whether you`re coming from the east or west coast, take the Trans Canada Highway to Clarenville, then follow Route 230 towards Bonavista till the turn-off for Trinity East , approximately one hour from Clarenville.
