You can fly to Newfoundland and Labrador, drive to Labrador from Quebec, and take a ferry to Newfoundland. The main surface links to the Island of Newfoundland are by superferry from North Sydney, Nova Scotia. Superferries carry hundreds of vehicles and passengers daily between North Sydney and Port aux Basques in southwestern Newfoundland, and between North Sydney and Argentia, a 90 minute drive from St. John’s in The Avalon, from June to September. To drive to Trintiy East, whether you`re coming from the east or west coast, take the Trans Canada Highway to Clarenville, then follow Route 230 towards Bonavista till the turn-off for Trinity East , approximately one hour from Clarenville.
